Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10-inch unbaked pie shell
    1 onion, chopped
    1 c. chopped ham, browned sausage or fried bacon
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    4 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute onion in small amount of oil.
    Meanwhile, bake pie shell at 450\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Sprinkle onion and meat in pie shell. Sprinkle with cheese.
    Beat eggs slightly, and add milk, salt and nutmeg.
    Stir well.
    Pour over ingredients in pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until well browned and set.
