Western Antipasto Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. salad oil
1/4 c. wine vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 large garlic clove, mashed
2 heads romaine lettuce
2 jars marinated artichokes, drained
1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. ripe olives
2 Tbsp. pimento, chopped
2 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
Preparation

Combine salad oil, vinegar, garlic and seasonings ahead of time to allow flavors to blend.
Break lettuce into small pieces; add remaining ingredients.
Just before serving, add salad dressing.
