Beef Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    round or flank steak, cut in 3 x 4-inch strips
    salt and pepper to taste
    cooked sausage
    dill pickles
    carrots, cut in julienne
    parsley, chopped
    olives, chopped
    1 1/2 c. stock
    1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
Preparation
    Prepare steak strips. Season with salt and pepper.
    Place in the middle of each strip of steak 2 tablespoons cooked sausage, 1 dill pickle, a portion of carrots, parsley and onions. Starting at one side, roll up (like when making cabbage roll). Fasten with toothpick. Dredge each roll in the flour. Brown each roll.
    Place in a casserole.
    Add tomato paste to stock. Pour around beef rolls.
    Cover casserole. Bake slowly at 300\u00b0 or simmer for 90 minutes or until tender.
