Snow Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, broken
    1 can LeSueur peas (large)
    1 large onion, separated into rings
    1 c. sliced water chestnuts
    1/2 c. celery, sliced
    6 eggs, sliced and boiled
Preparation
    Layer the ingredients in a large salad bowl.
    Mix 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon lemon juice; frost bowl completely. Refrigerate 24 hours, uncovered.
    After serving, store covered.
