Peanut Butter And Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. peanut butter
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 eggs
    12 oz. (2 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking soda and salt together.
    Stir in rolled oats and set aside.
    Cream together the sugars, margarine and peanut butter.
    Add vanilla and eggs and beat well.
    Add sifted ingredients and mix well.
    Add chocolate chips and nuts.
    Chill for 2 hours.
    Form dough into
    walnut-size balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Do no overbake.
    Yields 5 to 6 dozen.
