Bohemian Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, separated
    2 1/2 sticks margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 can pie filling
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Set aside.
    Cream margarine and sugar; add egg yolks.
    Add flour slowly, then vanilla.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Place 3/4 of batter in greased and floured cookie sheet.
    Add pie filling.
    Dab remaining 1/4 batter on top of pie filling.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Let cool and sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
