German Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. chopped apples
1 1/2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place chopped apples in lightly salted water while you prepare the batter.
Beat together oil and white and brown sugars; add eggs one at a time until well blended.
Sift together dry ingredients; add to sugar-egg mixture, mixing well.
Stir in well drained apples, nuts and vanilla.
Spread evenly in lightly oiled and floured Bundt or tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0
about 1 1/2 hours or until done.
Cool in pan 20 minutes.
Turn out onto wire rack to cool completely.
Drizzle glaze over cake before serving.
