Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. rice
    1 green pepper, cut in strips
    2 medium tomatoes, chopped
    4 to 5 c. hot water
    1 medium onion, chopped
    handful of peas
    3 to 4 Tbsp. oil
    1 carrot, cut in thin strips
Preparation
    Brown rice in oil.
    Add onion and tomatoes and continue to saute.
    Add vegetables and pour hot water on rice.
    Let cook on medium heat until done (20 to 25 minutes).
    Add salt to taste.
