Hungarian Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. cabbage
    1 large green pepper
    4 medium green onions
    1 small can pimentos
    3 carrots, shredded
    1 pt. vinegar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. mustard
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Slice first 5 ingredients very thin and put in crock or glass jar.
    Bring other 6 ingredients to a boil and pour boiling hot over vegetable mixture.
    Let set overnight.
    Will keep for months.
