Ingredients

1 large head cauliflower
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 slightly beaten egg
1 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Mix egg, milk and oil.
Add gradually to flour and salt, beating with rotary beater until smooth.
Dip pieces of cauliflower into batter with slotted spoon.
Drain momentarily, then fry in deep fat at 365\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 2 to 5 minutes.
This is also good for okra.
