Unstuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. lean ground beef
    1 c. chopped onions
    1/2 good size head green cabbage (about 1 1/2 lb.)
    1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. packed light brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. white vinegar
    3 beef bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Combine beef in 4 to 5-quart Dutch oven.
    Add onions.
    Cook over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes, stirring often, until beef is lightly brown.
    Add bouillon cubes.
    Quarter and core cabbage.
    Cut crosswise in inch wide strips, about 8 cups.
    Add to meat mixture. Cover and cook 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally until cabbage wilts (salt to taste).
    Stir in tomatoes, sugar and vinegar.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
