Bread Pudding And Brandy Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices day-old bread, broken in pieces
    1 qt. milk, heated
    1 c. light cream
    4 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, combine bread, milk and cream.
    In a medium bowl, beat eggs slightly.
    Stir in sugar.
    Add bread mixture.
    Stir in vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, butter and raisins.
    Pour into a buttered, shallow 2-quart baking dish.
    Set in a larger shallow pan.
    Pour hot water into larger pan (depth of 1 inch).
    Bake 1 hour, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Serve warm, with Brandy Sauce.
