Stuffed Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    large green cabbage
    3/4 lb. hamburger
    1/2 lb. sausage
    1 c. raw rice
    1/2 c. onion
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    1 egg
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1 (16 oz.) can V-8 juice
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Cut center from
    cabbage, chop it and set aside.
    Plunk the head of cabbage into
    a
    large pot with a cup of water and steam a couple of minutes.\tSeparate the leaves.
    Mix together hamburger, browned
    slightly, sausage, salt, spices, rice, egg and onion. Plunk
    large spoonfuls into each leaf and roll up. Put the chopped cabbage
    heart
    in bottom of a large pot.
    Top with cabbage rolls, seam side down.
    Pour V-8 juice and water over the top, bring
    to a boil.
    Reduce heat, cover and barely simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
