Beef Stroganoff(Easy, But Delicious!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in thin strips
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 carton (pt.) sour cream
    1 can mushrooms, drained
    flour
Preparation
    Flour and brown steak in as little shortening as possible. Completely cover with water; add soup mix and cook slowly, covered about 2 hours or until tender.
    Add mushrooms when meat is almost done. Stir in sour cream and just barely simmer for 10 minutes. Serve over buttered noodles.
    Serves 4 to 6.
