Sausage Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 lb. sausage, browned, crumbled and drained
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Grease cast-iron skillet and place in oven to heat.
    Mix ingredients, reserving sausage.
    Mix well.
    Add sausage.
    Mix.
    Pour batter into hot skillet.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
