Mushroom Soup(Low-Fat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. dried whole basil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 1/4 c. 2% low-fat milk
    chopped fresh parsley
    vegetable cooking spray
    1 1/2 tsp. margarine
    3/4 c. chopped green onions
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. presliced fresh mushrooms
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3 1/4 c. low sodium chicken broth
Preparation
    Coat a large Dutch oven with cooking spray.
    Add margarine and place over medium heat until margarine melts.
    Add green onions and garlic; saute 2 minutes.
    Add mushrooms and saute 3 minutes. Sprinkle flour over vegetables; stir and cook 1 minute.
    Gradually add broth and next 4 ingredients, stirring with a wire whisk until blended.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes.
