Linguine With Clam Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
1 garlic clove
3 Tbsp. olive oil
3 Tbsp. butter
2/3 c. chicken broth
1/3 c. white wine
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can chopped clams
1/4 c. reserved liquid from clams
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 pkg. linguine
Preparation

Melt butter and oil.
In skillet, cook onion and garlic.
Stir in chicken broth, wine, oregano, dash of pepper and salt to taste and reserved clam liquid.
Simmer for about 20 minutes.
Add clams to sauce to heat through.
Cook linguine; drain.
Add sauce to linguine along with grated cheese and toss.
Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
