Southern Comfort Sausage Cake(In Honor Of Princess Patty) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean sausage (uncooked)
2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. dark raisins
1 1/2 c. water
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. black walnuts, chopped
1/4 c. Southern Comfort (whiskey)
Preparation

Bring the raisins and the water to a boil before adding to the other ingredients.
Stir or mix with hands the sausage and light brown sugar together.
Add the boiled raisins and water.
Mix all the dry ingredients together and add to the sausage-raisins mixture alternately with the Southern Comfort.
Then add the nuts. Stir all well and pour into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch Pyrex baking dish, or in a Bundt pan, well-greased and bake 1 hour (more or less) in a 375\u00b0 preheated oven.
When cake is done and cooled for perhaps 10 minutes one can pour a glaze over.
