Frozen Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 3/4 c. white vinegar
    3 onions, peeled and sliced
    1/4 c. pickling salt
    12 big cucumbers, peeled and sliced
Preparation
    Mix sugar, salt and vinegar together.
    Boil this together; let cool.
    Pour mixture over cucumbers and onions.
    Let stand in refrigerator for 12 hours, then put in containers and freeze.
    A good way to use surplus cukes.
    I have done this and they are really quite good.
