Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. margarine or butter (3/4 stick), softened
2 large eggs
1 c. mashed bananas (2 ripe, large)
2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
On low speed, beat sugar, margarine and eggs until just blended.
Increase to high speed until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).
Reduce speed to low and add bananas and 1/4 cup water.
Beat until well mixed. Add flour, baking soda and salt.
Beat until blended.
Fold in nuts.
Pour into loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes. Test with toothpick in center and comes out clean.
