Fresh Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 1/2 c. wheat cereal (bite-size squares)
    1 c. finely chopped, peeled apples
    3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
    In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
    In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk, oil and cereal.
    Stir to break up cereal.
    Mix in apple, brown sugar and nuts.
    Add all at once to dry ingredients.
    Stir just until moistened.
    Turn into pan.
    Bake 65 to 70 minutes until tester comes out clean.
    Let cool 15 minutes before removing from pan. Makes 1 loaf.
