Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. round steak, cut in bite size chunks
1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
6 Tbsp. flour
3 c. water
Preparation

Turn heat on high and cook the water out of the meat.
Remove from heat and add spices and flour.
Blend all together, then add water slowly.
Turn on heat to medium-high until it begins to thicken, then turn down to low and cook slowly, but stirring occasionally.
The flavor is even better if made a day ahead. Cook 1 to 3 hours.
Serves 6 to 8.
