Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cornstarch
7 egg yolks
7 c. milk
1 c. rice
5 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 c. rice
5 c. water
salt and nutmeg to taste
Preparation

Cook rice until tender, adding water as necessary.
Cook for 1 to 2 hours.
