Basic Barbecued Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. spareribs
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 c. orange juice
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    2 minced cloves garlic
    3 Tbsp. parsley
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    To prepare ribs: Simmer in a large pot with salted water to cover for 45 to 60 minutes, until meat begins to pull away from bones.
    In a bowl, combine sauce.
    Let stand for 15 minutes. Place ribs on deep platter; brush sauce on both sides.
    Let stand for 2 hours.
    Remove ribs.
    Pour sauce in a cup.
    Cook by barbecuing time table to desired doneness, brushing frequently with sauce.
    Serves 6.
