Vestal Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. dark Karo
1 stick oleo
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecans
2 c. sugar
8 eggs, beaten well
1 pinch salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
This recipe makes 2 (9-inch) deep dish pies.
Mix all ingredients except pecans well.
Fold in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake until set, approximately 45 minutes to an hour.
Center of pie will be slightly runny, but done when knife inserted comes out with grainy consistency.
