Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. cocoa
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter (room temperature)
1/4 c. peanut butter
3 c. quick-cooking oats
Preparation

Combine sugar, milk, cocoa and butter in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, cook 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Mix in peanut butter.
Add oats, blend thoroughly.
Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper.
Let cool completely.
Store cookies in an airtight container.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
