Sausage Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bulk sausage
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 large pkg. noodles
    2 qt. water
    1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
Preparation
    Shape sausage into 1-inch balls.
    Combine onion and water in large kettle; bring to a boil.
    Drop in sausage balls.
    Cover; reduce heat.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Chill several hours or overnight.
    Skim fat from sausage broth; add tomato juice.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add noodles; cook until noodles are tender.
    Yield:
    8 servings.
