Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 to 3 1/2 lb.) chicken
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 oz. egg noodles
    3 c. chopped celery
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. melted butter
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    6 oz. cubed Cheddar cheese
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Boil chicken in salted water for about 45 minutes.
    Debone chicken; save broth.
    Cut chicken into bite-size pieces.
    Set aside 1/3 cup broth.
    Cook noodles in remaining broth.
    Saute celery and onions in butter until tender.
    Mix celery, onions, 1/3 cup broth, pepper, cubed cheese, chicken and noodles.
    Spoon into casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for 5 minutes.
