Ingredients

2 c. (18 oz.) peanut butter
12 oz. plus semi-sweet chocolate
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Melt peanut butter and 1/2 cup of the margarine together on stove top or in microwave.
Stir in vanilla and graham cracker crumbs.
Add powdered sugar (sift if lumpy).
Stir until thoroughly mixed.
Press into greased pan (10 x 15-inch or 9 x 13-inch).
Chill until firm.
Melt chocolate and 1/4 cup of margarine; stir them together.
Spread over peanut butter base. Let stand until chocolate sets up (chill if necessary, but it's easier to cut at room temperature).
Cut into squares; store in airtight container.
(In warm weather, refrigerate if necessary.)
