Fresh Orange Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. Crisco
    3 eggs
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. strained orange juice
    1/3 c. water
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
Preparation
    Mix sugar and Crisco.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well. Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix thoroughly.
    Add juice and rind.
    Makes 2 large layers.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until done.
