Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1/2 oz. red food coloring
Preparation
    In one bowl, cream oil and beaten eggs.
    Sift flour, salt and baking soda and add to the mixture.
    Set aside.
    In a small bowl, stir vinegar and buttermilk together.
    Mix all ingredients together.
    After stirring, add food coloring and stir it in, until well blended.
    Pour evenly into three well-greased and lightly floured round cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes (oven temps may vary).
    Add frosting and chopped walnuts.
