Frijoles(Southwest Pinto Beans) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pinto beans (dry, 4 c. cooked)
    2 qt. water
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    6 slices bacon or ham bone
Preparation
    Sort dry beans, removing stones and broken beans.
    Wash in saucepan to remove dust.
    Cook beans with oil in pressure cooker about 45 minutes or in crock-pot overnight.
    When beans are soft, cut up bacon and fry crisp.
    Pour bacon and drippings into bean pot and cook a while longer on low heat.
    Add salt, if needed. Serve with fresh tortillas.
