Carrot Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    carrot straight strips
    2 c. vinegar
    3 c. water
    1/8 c. salt
    1/3 pod red pepper
    2 Tbsp. dill seed
    1 garlic button
Preparation
    Place straight carrot strips upright in sterilized jars, together with red pepper, dill seed and garlic button.
    Mix vinegar, water and salt in saucepan; bring to boil.
    Pour boiling mixture over carrots in jars.
    (Have jars warm so they will not break.)
    Screw lids on tight.
    Let set for a week before opening.
