Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. jello
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 medium size container cool whip
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Bring pineapple to a boil and add jello; then cool.
    Mix cool whip and buttermilk together; add to jello mixture.
    Add nuts and set in shallow baking dish.
