Black-Eyed Pea Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large potatoes
2 onions
1/2 pkg. frozen carrots
1 pkg. frozen okra
3 heaping Tbsp. bacon drippings
1/2 stick margarine
1 tsp. sugar and salt
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 can black-eyed peas
2 cans tomatoes
Preparation

Cook potatoes and onions in enough water to cover them for about 20 minutes.
Cook remaining ingredients for 5 minutes.
Add black-eyed peas (not drained).
Add tomatoes.
Simmer about 30 minutes.
