Marinated Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can French cut green beans, drained
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 small can mushrooms
    1/2 c. thin sliced cooked carrots (for color)
    1 small onion, sliced (optional)
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix together water, vegetable oil, vinegar and sugar.
    Pour over vegetables and marinate overnight.
