Syrup Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. cane syrup
    1 c. cooking oil
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Put all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix.
    Add eggs, oil and syrup.
    Beat well, then add 1 cup boiling water.
    Beat until the batter is very thin and pour into a large, long greased and floured cake pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until brown and sort of shiny.
    Test for doneness.
    This cake will stay quite moist.
