Dodie Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 cube butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. graham cracker crumbs plus
    enough whole graham crackers to line 9 x 13 pan - twice
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. ground walnuts
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook first 5 ingredients on medium heat until it boils.
    Boil until thickened.
    Remove from heat and add rest of ingredients (except whole graham crackers).
    Line 9 x 13 pan with whole graham crackers, pour filling mixture over them.
    Put on a top layer of graham crackers and push down gently.
    Ice with powdered sugar icing and cover.
    Let set in refrigerator for at least 2 hours (so it softens a little) then cut into bar type servings.
