Old-Fashioned Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. chopped rhubarb
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add egg.
    Beat well.
    Combine buttermilk and vanilla; set aside.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
    Stir in rhubarb. Spread into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Combine 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon; sprinkle over batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.
