Baked Mushrooms, Noodles And Ham Mornay - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. milk
    salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
    1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 c. heavy cream
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, cut into small pieces (2 c.)
    1/2 lb. ham, cut into 1/2-inch cubes (2 c.)
    3/4 lb. wide noodles
    2 Tbsp. Port wine
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Heat 2 tablespoons butter.
    Add flour; stir with wire whisk.
    When blended, add milk, stirring rapidly. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and the cheese, stirring until melted. Add cream; bring to boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Melt remaining butter.
    Add onions, stirring.
    Add mushrooms; cook until wilted. Add ham; heat through.
