Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large onions, sliced
    3/4 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 1/4 c. flour
    additional flour
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except onions and blend together until smooth.
    Separate onion slices into individual rings.
    Dip each ring into batter and then again into plain flour one at a time. Fry in hot oil for 1 1/2 minutes or until light brown.
    Drain on absorbent paper.
    Serve as a side dish.
