Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 c. water
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 envelope instant mashed potatoes (5 servings)
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until golden.
    Add water, milk, salt, and pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Stir in potatoes.
    Serves 5.
