Hot Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. cider (can use apple juice)
    12 whole cloves
    8 whole allspice
    1/4 c. sugar
    8 cinnamon sticks
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cool.
    Refrigerate covered. The spices can be left in the cider for 5 to 7 days.
    Heat to serve.
