Gwen'S Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 box cubed bread stuffing mix
    1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
    2 cans (10 1/2-oz. each) condensed cream of chicken soup
    1 can mushrooms pieces and stems, drained
Preparation
    Add butter, celery and onion to water and boil until vegetables are tender.
    In a large bowl mix stuffing mix and poultry seasoning; mix in broth with celery and onion.
    Pat beef lightly onto bottom of baking dish; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Layer stuffing mixture over meat, and cover all with the undiluted soup and the mushrooms.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
