Christmas Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 to 1 c. walnuts, pecans or mixed nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add 1 cup sugar and the eggs.
    Beat well.
    Add sour cream and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Beat in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
    Mix the remaining 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon and nuts for the topping.
    Sprinkle 3/4ths of the topping over batter in pan.
    Add remaining batter; sprinkle with remaining topping mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.
    Do not open oven during baking.
