Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 eggs
    pinch of salt
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together, except the flour. Add the 4 cups flour
    gradually to the mixture until the dough is the right consistency.
    Do
    not make the dough too dry.
    Roll out thin and cut
    in desired shapes. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes. Sprinkle sugar on top of each tea cake. Makes about 4 dozen.
