Coca-Cola Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can Bing cherries, drain and reserve juice (15 to 16 oz.)
    6 oz. cherry gelatin (black cherry is a favorite)
    12 oz. Coca-Cola
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drain and reserve juice
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. fruit juice (from drained cherries and pineapple, add water)
Preparation
    Drain and save juice from fruits.
    Add water to make 2 cups. Bring to a boil and pour over gelatin. Stir until dissolved. Cool.
    Add Coke.
    Chill until the consistency of unbeaten egg whites. Stir in fruits and nuts.
    Pour into lightly greased mold and chill until firm, at least 2 hours.
