Dinner In A Pumpkin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small to medium pumpkin
1 onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. oil
1 1/2 to 2 lb. sausage
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 c. cooked rice
1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
Preparation

Cut off the top of the pumpkin and thoroughly clean out seeds and pulp.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a large skillet, saut onions in oil until tender.
Add meat and brown.
Add soy sauce, brown sugar, mushrooms and soup. Simmer ten minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add cooked rice and water chestnuts.
Spoon mixture into cleaned pumpkin shell.
Replace top and place entire pumpkin with filling on the baking sheet.
Bake 1 hour or vary up to 2 hours, depending on the size of your pumpkin.
Place entire pumpkin on serving plate, remove pumpkin lid and serve mixture plus the meat.
