Hires Candy Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. Hires root beer extract
1 egg white
1/8 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cook sugar, water and salt until it spins a thread when dropped from spoon.
Add extract and pour over stiffly beaten egg white, beating while pouring.
Continue to beat until mixture is quite stiff, then drop by teaspoon on waxed paper.
