Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pineapple tidbits
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. plain flour
    1/2 stick margarine
    4 large apples, peeled and diced
    1 c. chopped pecans
    8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix flour and sugar together.
    Add pineapple with juice and margarine.
    Cook on low heat until thick.
    Cool thoroughly. Combine pineapple mixture with apples in a salad dish.
    Spread Cool Whip over mixture.
    Sprinkle pecans on top.
